We are proud to announce that this year’s Kidney Golf Classic, co-presided by SLF’s own Luciano D’Ignazio and Dr. Rita Suri from the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, raised a record-breaking $235,000 – an excellent way to celebrate the event’s 20th anniversary.
These proceeds will go toward improving research into kidney disease and enhancing patient services.
Luciano has been involved in this fundraiser since it was started in 1998: “It means a lot to me to know our efforts have helped make a difference in the lives of millions of Canadians suffering from kidney failure and related disorders, including over half a million right here in Quebec.”
The tournament organizers extended a very special thank you to the Royal Montreal Golf Club, which has hosted the event every year for the past 20 years.
